I Didn’t Start in Tech.
I Started in Service & Operations.
Before tech, AI, or automation, I came up as a restaurant guy.
I learned business the hard way — in kitchens, dining rooms, and owning multiple locations — where hard work, efficiency, systems, and Ritz Carlton 5-Star level service aren’t buzzwords, they’re survival skills.
Margins are thin, people are unpredictable, and if your systems don’t work, everything breaks fast.
That systems foundation shaped how I see every business.
So much so that I was inspired to build Restaurant Success System, that I still support and teach today.
I went from being that struggling restaurant owner who felt like he bought a "Job" to enterprising multi-unit restaurateur and on from there.
Later, that same systems mindset carried into service businesses — most notably - Spiffy (Get Spiffy Inc.), where as one of the founders, I helped scale a services company from $0 in 2014 to nearly $90M in annual recurring revenue, with 300+ vehicles on the road and a valuation north of $500M.
That was the domino moment.
